西藏和平機場10月完工 聖母峰登山新點
四月 16th, 2010 at 6:36（中央社記者何宏儒新德里12日專電）印度媒體報導，中國在西藏興建的第5座民用機場「和平機 場」預定今年10月前完工，未來可望成為聖母峰登山客的新據點，也將為班禪喇嘛駐錫地日喀則帶進觀光客。
「印度時報」（The Times of India）今天在頭版報導指出，為使國境一側的世界最高峰成為登山客天堂，中國斥資7170萬美元，正興建名為「和平」的新機場，位置就在距珠穆朗瑪峰 基地營100公里處的日喀則。報導說，機場命名顯然衝著西藏和印度而來。
除了吸引登山客之外，和平機場也有為班禪喇嘛駐錫地扎什倫布寺帶進觀光客的用意。報導指出，班禪喇嘛扮演協助中國挑戰達賴喇嘛的關鍵角色。
中尼公路上的日喀則是西藏第二大城。機場10月完工後，旅客下了飛機，走陸路進入尼泊爾將更為便利。日喀則將是繼拉薩、昌都、林芝、阿里等地之後，擁有民 用機場的第5個西藏行政區域。
報導說，中國目前也正在那曲興建標高4436公尺的世界最高海拔機場。
和平機場於去年4月動工，預定今年10月前完工。至2020年之前，它的設計年客運量為23萬人次、年貨運量為1150噸、年航機起降為2580架次。 990412
