慶祝世界計量日 周末健行
五月 13th, 2010 at 1:40為慶祝五二○世界計量日，經濟部標準檢驗局高雄分局與高雄市度量衡商業同業公會訂 於九十九年五月十五日（星期六）上午八點至十二點，假楠梓區「高雄都會公園」共同辦理健行活動，參與者除可領取毛巾、礦泉水、帽子，並可參加摸彩及有獎徵 答，獎項豐富，歡迎民眾踴躍報名參加，報名專線：（○七）二二四七一四二陳鳳嬌小姐。
計量傳統上稱之為度量衡，隨著人類文明的進步， 計量對科學、技術、貿易、以及社會都具有重要的影響，因此於一九九九年國際度量衡大會（CGPM）中把每年五月二十日定為「世界計量日」，以彰顯計量的重 要性。
高雄分局表示，除了健行活動外，現場還提供免費水銀式血壓計檢查、血壓量測及安全商品展示。此外，該分局配合今年世界 計量日主題「計量與科技量測」，將於五月二十一日（星期五）假該分局三樓大禮堂辦理一場計量之學術研討會，歡迎民眾共同參與。
